PRIME MINISTER NAJIB RAZAK’S IMPASSIONATE PLEA AT THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN OCTOBER, 2015
…A CLASS ACT, FULL OF
DRAMA AND SUSPENSE AND STATED IN AN ORDERLY MANNER AND UNENCUMBERED BY
EMOTIONS. …AND HOW NAJIB CAN STILL HAVE THE TIME TO DO WHAT MAHATHIR HAD FAILED
TO DO DESPITE BEING THE PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA TWENTY-TWO YEARS.
By Mansor Puteh
And when Najib Razak gave
a speech on behalf of the government and country, America
and the Zionist state of Israel
also made sure they sent their representatives to attend it and to listen to
what he says.
So the National Security
Advisor to President Barack Obama’s administration, Susan Rice and an official
from the Zionist state were seen sitting at their benches at their respective
places in the general assembly hall and were seen jotting notes, which they
would later convey to their respective governments.
Malaysia being at the
center of the large number of Arab and other Muslim states sit precariously in
its epicenter and whose guidance the Arab and Muslim World requires and needs
to make them ponder over the issues they are constantly facing and it is not
just the Palestinian Question by the outbreak of discontent and outside
provocations by the warring neighboring countries of the Zionist state of
Israel and friendly countries that have bad intentions on them and who can and
have been inflicting harm and damage on their countries.
These and all the other
issues had nicely been mentioned and even condemned by Najib in his speech but
in a tone that he made sure sounded less hostile; but the impact was there, as
the applause that he had managed to get throughout his speech was any
indication that what he was saying did not aim to only please but to ensure
that actions are taken.
I did not hear him speak
at the UNGA live; I was pleasantly surprised that RTM and also TV3 and later
Bernama TV broadcast the speech in its entirety during their news programs that
I managed to watch last night.
Mahathir, as deputy prime
minister and prime minister had also given speeches at the UNGA, one of which I
attended in 1978 when he was just the deputy prime minister; and one can
conclude that Mahathir could not have delivered his speeches in the same manner
and style that Najib had shown.
And what had Mahathir not
done when he was prime minister for twenty-two years that he still does not
know? Many.
And what will Najib do in
this regard? Will he be able to do much on the things that Mahathir had failed
to do despite being prime minister that long?
Unfortunately, the two of
them would not know what they are. And his officials and advisors too would not
be of much help.
In the meantime, the Melayu World and Muslim World will continue to suffer and some Arab countries will face worse calamities, simply because the Arabs cannot create a new leadership that can help change their situation from what it is now to something better.
And Malaysia too cannot
be of much help unless if Najib is smart enough to engage some others in the
film field to give him new ideas on how to develop the Muslim World.
He did mention in a
speech how Malaysian filmmakers must produce ‘Oscar-worthy films’ but the
respective ministries and film agency officials won’t take up on this because
they do not know where to start.
And chances are the
speech Najib was supposed to have read that was written for him by somebody
else that had in the end read by an assistant because he could not attend the
function has already been forgotten; it has not become a policy directive.
But it got him some space
in the Star newspaper and not in the others that I had seen.
And no one in the film
industry too had bothered to talk about it to ask how and why did he say so.
It is unfortunate that
the leaders of the Muslim world have not got the right advise from the experts
who could propose to them to jointly develop the New Islamic Cinema, because
they are not familiar with the ways used by the Zionists to control America and
then the world with it and the other strategic industries and its activities
till today.
Yet, the process of
Zionization of America started fairly late, in the 1940s and it picked a lot of
speed in the 1960s when the Zionists were brave enough to embark on their cruel
campaign to wrest more land from the Palestinians to call their own state,
which is untenable then as it is till today, which they know can be freed from
their control, i.e.. if the Muslim leaders knew how to do it without the need
to use any force.
And what about the
‘meeting’ Najib was said to have had at the corridor in the UN building as
alleged by his critics?
It was not a meeting as
such, but an encounter by Benjamin Netanyahu who had earlier spoken in the UNGA
and wanted to bump into Najib after hearing his speech which he said or thought
to be comprising that did not criticize him or his ruthless regime.
Netanyahu or Bibi smiled
at the encounter but Najib kept his serious countenance because he did not wish
to be seen to be too welcoming of Bibi and only managed to shake hands with him
as it would not be proper for him not to accept Bibi’s hand.
I wrote a posting on my
FB asking if this could be Najib’s chance to launch himself as an international
statesman and be the in-between person to bring the Zionist leaders and the
Palestinians to the peace table that they had long pushed aside.
He can do that and if
things happen, chances are he could win the Nobel Peace Prize…
