DAP STATE ASSEMBLYMAN FOR BALAKONG CAUGHT GAMBLING AND HE WAS GIVEN A THREE-MONTH SUSPENSION BY HIS PARTY.
…ANWAR
IBRAHIM WAS SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS JAIL FOR SODOMY, BUT DAP DIDN’T CARE ABOUT
IT AND HOW THE DAP AND PAS ARE TWO PARTIES WITH CONFLICTING INTERESTS AND GOALS
WITH ONE TRYING TO ESTABLISH A SECULAR STATE WHILE THE OTHER AN ISLAMIC ONE.

I can
say I know Balakong quiet well; I live nearby this area. It is not quiet and
also not well. By right it does not need anyone to represent it in parliament
or the state assembly. There is anarchy here in more ways than one.
But the
laws of the land say they have to include this area for political parties to
put their men to get the votes to represent them in parliament and the state
assembly.
For so long Balakong and also Serdang had been Barisan Nasional areas.
But for
the last two general elections they had fallen to the DAP or Pakatan Rakyat.
But
since DAP took over Balakong especially, this area has not seen any
development; it is one of the dirtiest areas in Selangor.
It is an
industrial area, albeit of the small kind, and the roads are littered with
potholes and there are also many bumps, a reflection on how careless the lorry
drivers are and also the civilian motorists are, too.
Here
along the main roads and some other places around them one can see stickers
everywhere. The public car parks had their ticket meters torn down. Even the
public phones are not working or have been stolen.
Most of
the streetlights are stolen or not lit at night.
And
there were some guard dogs that were put by the owners of some small factories,
but all of them seemed to have been poisoned.
The
reason for this to happen is to allow those who want to operate at night to be
able to do it quietly without being disturbed by the dogs, who yelped when they
see vehicles appearing in the dead of night when there are some men who want to
break into the factories.
Some people
have been killed, including a China
man whose body was found by the side of the road.
Many
Bangladeshi workers in the factories had been harassed by those in uniform and
robbed by others riding small motorcycles.
The DAP
member of parliament may not be aware of this. He has not bothered to check
with those who live and work in his own constituency, so much so even the
drains that had been clogged when Barisan controlled this area are still
clogged.
This is
a strong indication of how the DAP member of parliament has not bothered to do
what he was supposed to do.
He chose
to gamble. And unfortunately for him, his acts had been recorded and posted on
YouTube.
Who
would know if he is the DAP member of parliament to the than his friends or
close colleagues anyway?
And his
party immediately suspended him three months. But for gambling?
He,
being a Chinese can say, it is his right as any Chinese to gamble. After all
the casinos at Genting Highlands were opened purely to cater to their
lifestyle.
And many
Chinese in Malaysia
and the neighboring countries had come to gamble; some won and many more lost.
Few had
died when the vehicles they were traveling in fell over the slipper roads when
it rained, or some who had deliberately done so, because they could not bear
going downhill without any money in their pockets.
I pity
the DAP member of parliament; he should not have been suspended. He like the
female DAP member of the state assembly Elizabeth Wong and also state executive
member of Selangor who was caught having an affair with a Melayu man was never
chastised by her own party much less suspended.
And the
DAP has also not admonished Anwar Ibrahim from Parti KeAdilan Rakyat (PKR) for
committing sodomy for which he had to face trial not once but twice and given
jail sentences, the last being for five years.
He is
now held at the Sungai Buloh Prison.
Even as a member of their Pakatan Rakyat coalition party, the DAP had the right to comment and also called for the suspension of Anwar like they had called for the termination of communication with PAS vice-president Hadi Awang, but not the party, for his interest to move a motion in parliament to get their Hudud Bill passed.
The DAP
does not seem to realize the Hudud Bill that Hadi wants to move in parliament
his not his personal motion but he is acting on behalf of the party.
But the
DAP seems to be afraid to chastise the party but not the individual so they
think they can get away if PAS collectively criticize them.
Chances are Hadi will succeed if Umno and some member of Barisan also support it like their members in the Kelantan state assembly had done so when the Hudud Bill was passed there earlier, before it could be sent to parliament.
The ugly
or laughable thing is how both the DAP and PAS thought they could form a
coalition with PKR called Pakatan Rakyat to unseat Barisan and form a federal
government and some state governments, with DAP insisting that they are secular
governments and PAS wanting to establish Islamic ones with PKR sitting in the
center trying to be the kingmakers but whose only reason to exist it seems is
to look after the well-being of its founder, Anwar Ibrahim, a former Umno and
Barisan strongman, now convicted sodomist.
However,
the most laughable part is how the supporters of DAP and PAS and also PKR could
go along with what their leaders have been doing which to the average
Malaysian, would be confusing to the core.
The only
logical thing is that DAP and PKR depends on how many more Melayu PAS can bring
to support them in the general elections and how PAS can also benefit from the
Chinese supporters of DAP to get more PAS members in the parliament and the
state assemblies.
And this is what has been keeping Pakatan Rakyat together, until the Hudud matter comes along which can change all that they had tried to hold on to.
